I’m Emil,

a Yugoslavia-born, Australia-raised, Amsterdam-dwelling Kiwi writer and creative.

I work at Sony's Guerrilla studio as a Senior Copy and Game Writer. You can find my words in Horizon's Burning Shores DLC, its LEGO adaptation, and the Seeds of Rebellion tabletop RPG

Before that, I spent ten years working for some of

the big letters and numbers

in advertising, including 180, TBWA, BBDO, and VMLY&R. I won some

awards

and created work for Rockstar Energy, DHL, MINI, Visa, Al Jazeera, adidas, and more.

On the side, I’ve

had a little short fiction published,

and I help run a network of writer’s groups named Strange Birds.
